Hemet - Police chase ends in crash 500 N Block of San Jacinto Ave. Press Release From Hemet Police Dept: On Sunday, March 9, 2025 at 1:55 AM, Officers from the Hemet Police Department responded to the 1300 block of El Nita Lane for a subject smashing out vehicle windows. Officers arrived and contacted the suspect who ran to his vehicle and fled the location, a pursuit was then initiated by officers. Hemet - Hit And Run Acacia Ave. X San Jacinto Ave. Just after midnight a male pedestrian was struck by a black sedan, possibly a dodge charger according to witnesses. The vehicle fled the scene leaving the pedestrian in the roadway. upon arrival emergency services found the male on the roadway with severe injuries sustained from being hit. Hemet - Wildland Fire Warren Rd X Esplanade Ave. At 4:35 Hemet Fire received multiple calls regarding a wildfire that broke out in a field that was growing at a fast pace. Upon arrival fire crews from Hemet Fire and Cal-Fire found that the field had a 8 acre size fire and that it was growing.
