Each year, hundreds of state inmates return to Broward County, and nearly 62% of those inmates commit new crimes within three years of their release. To address the issue, the Broward Sheriff's Office Department of Community Programs Day Reporting and Reentry Division (DRRD) is working to reduce recidivism and crime rates in our community through the Broward Reentry Portal.
