Bone graft is a routinely performed surgical procedure in dentistry. Bone grafting is done in areas where there is bone loss due to many reasons such as extractions, trauma, periodontal diseases etc. this is commonly done if the patient is also going for dental implants. This procedure is done under local anaesthesia. Once the necessary X-rays are taken, a clear picture is obtained as to the amount of bone loss and the extent of it.
