28/2/26 Widespread 200 to 600 mm Monsoon totals from a slow moving tropical low have fallen across parts of the vast Lake Eyre Basin in the Northern Territory and Western Queensland. Large volumes of this water will move south through Channel Country to Kati Thanda Lake Eyre, while some will soak into channels, lagoons and desert floodplains along the way, setting the stage for a strong wildflower season.
