If you’re in Chattanooga, TN you can go walk The Passage, a unique water feature that links downtown Chattanooga and the Tennessee River and marks the beginning of the Trail of Tears. The Trail of Tears refers to the forced removal of the Cherokee tribes from Chattanooga into Oklahoma and there are seven ceramic disks with illustrative art that helps tell their story and culture.
