🤍 Alabama White Sauce is creamy and tangy making it perfect for smoked chicken, which was its intended purpose when created by Big Bob Gibson in 1925. I live right here in Alabama and have visited the restaurant many times. The vinegar, mustard, horseradish, Worcestershire, garlic, and mayonnaise sauce works beautifully over any meats, fish, and vegetables. The dash of cayenne adds the heat it needs to top off this favorite sauce. I use it as a salad dressing too. Hope you enjoy it! This recipe

Alabama White Sauce was made famous by Big Bob Gibson's in Decatur, Al. The acidity pairs great with BBQ and the mayo acts as a moisture barrier especially with poultry. This is not a real common sauce that a lot of people have tried, and this recipe is my take on their classic sauce. Trust me, you have to try it! 😋 | Meat Church BBQ
