Allied forces arrive in Antwerp, September 1944. Crowds greet them, members of the Belgian Resistance round up prisoners, Royal Navy minesweepers clear the port and river and the first Allied ship enters the port. The clip comes from a 1947 US War Department film on the multi-national Antwerp-X system of forward observers, radar, plotting and anti-aircraft guns used to defend the city against German V-1 flying bombs.
