What Weah did should be a red wherever it is on the field. In the Euros, any hard hand to face contact is going to be a red. CONMEBOL clearly wants to compete with the Euros. Weah cannot be losing his head like this and striking an opposing player in that manner plus you throw the one match suspension on top and this feels like it could be a defining event for the USMNT in Copa.
