Lay the blade on the anvil and strike the spot where the circle and the straight line intersect. 3 or 4 good licks with a 5 lb hammer. Start at the inner circle and work all the way around it, then move out to the next circle.

Nov 11, 2015 · The farthermost point might have 4 or 5 signs on it. After you do the whole saw, you can figure out where to put the shim. If you take the saw and rotate it 180°, the marks should be the opposite. If not, it's in the saw, not the collars or shaft. Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large groups.

March 28, 2010, 11:24:59 PM. More teeth will not necessarily increase the speed of the cut and it takes more horsepower to run a saw with more teeth. From what I have read it is recommended to have 2 or 3 horsepower per tooth. Then, if you have sufficient horse power you need to feed at a respectable rate to get the most use out of each tooth.
