Hornady custom grade dies - Long Range Hunting Forum
Apr 5, 2014 · Hey guys. I was just wondering what your thoughts were on Hornady custom grade dies. I just picked up a set for my 22-250 and have heard some negative reviews on these dies. I know there is better out there. Wondering if I shouldn't have stuck with the RCBS.

Redding or hornady dies? - Long Range Hunting Forum
Oct 10, 2017 · I've been reloading for about a year now. Im a Full length resizer. I have several sets of dies, mostly Hornady custom series. About to buy another set for a 280 ackley improved and am wondering what you guys think of the difference between Redding and Hornady die quality is. I'm not a prs or mile shooter.
Hornady Custom Grade "New Dimension" 2 Die Set? Good?
May 28, 2010 · Had to tighten the nut VERY tight to get it to stay. I feel I can get good reloads (runout, seating etc) with these dies, but it does seem to take A LOT more work. This can probably be said of any production grade die set though. Gotta love the price. These dies work ok for friends that want reloads. I'll leave the handloads to custom dies.
Anyone tested runout with Hornady Custom Grade Seating Die?
May 4, 2011 · Looking at getting dies for a new caliber, and was looking at Forster Seating Dies, with the alignment sleeve. One of the sites I looked at had a comment saying that the Hornady Custom Grade Seating die uses a similar system, and was just curious if anyone had actually used one with low or no runout necks brass and checked the bullet runout after.

When I did and explained my project, the person I was talking to sounded confused and did not earn my vote of confidence at the time (~3 months ago).
