Oct 21, 2021 · Yesterday a public-safety alert came in on my iPhone SE (running iOS 16.3.1). it appeared in front of the application that I was looking at. I closed that application, and the notification disappeared from view. I looked through my iPhone. I found no notifications at all. The public-safety alert did not appear in either Messages or Mail.

Aug 5, 2013 · I had the same question. It took a little bit of doing but the message is also located in the notification center. For iOS 7.+ that is located by pulling the drop down menu from the top of your screen.

Dec 26, 2017 · An Amber Alert came through the other nite on my phone and watch. I was able to delete it from the phone but not from the watch. Every time I swipe down the Amber Alert comes up. I scroll up and press dismiss, it goes away and it immediately comes back over and over. I have turned off and restarted both the watch and phone.
