It had a great library, but it didn't matter because I just kept going back to SNK vs Capcom lol My biggest gripe with the Neo Geo is that it didn't add extra buttons or at least shoulder buttons. Jun 15, 2018 · Not an SNK-developed game, but Samurai Spirits 0 Special is the best SS. Best system, best character selection, best balance (reported to the huge cast: some characters are helpless, but there's no overwhelming top tier). Best character selection screen as well. I love the sound design, with more ambient noises than musical themes.

Jul 20, 2024 · Honestly I always enjoyed this one. And I appreciated that the character selections were a touch more interesting than Capcom VS SNK (which was basically Street Fighter vs KoF). Amazing art, too. The prefight dialogue is cool as well.
