Silo is a dystopian series of post-apocalyptic science fiction books by American writer Hugh Howey. The series started in 2011 with the short story "Wool", which was later published together with four sequel novellas as a novel with the same name.

The series is a continuous story that should be read in order: Wool Omnibus, Shift Omnibus, Dust Three additional short stories (In the Air, In the Mountain, In the Woods) have been published in anthologies and were included in Howey's collection Machine Learning.
