Joaquín Archivaldo Guzmán Loera (Spanish: [xoaˈkin aɾtʃiˈβaldo ɣusˈman loˈeɾa]; born 4 April 1957), commonly known by his nickname as "El Chapo", is a Mexican former drug lord and a former leader within the Sinaloa Cartel.
