The blood work will tell you if your breathing is keeping your co2 and oxygen in your blood at the right levels. A PFT will tell you very detailed information about how deep you're breathing, how strong your breathing muscles are, if you have asthma or other breathing diseases, and much more. Honestly, I doubt you need either if those tests.
