Sep 25, 2022 · My new airpod pro 2 connects to my ipod nano 7th gen but there is no sound. the original airpod pros worked well. the new airpods sound great on my iphone and ipad; I prefer the smaller nano while hiking. The nano is a bluetooth device, airpods should work.

Oct 30, 2019 · Yes, the AirPods Pro work with the iPod nano 7. Noise cancellation also works. The only issue is the volume is kind of limited. (Google the volume limit issue with the prior AirPods models and the nano.) with the pros it isn’t as bad. I probably wouldn’t want to listen to it any louder than the maximum volume. But that’s just me.
