Edwards was the nation's No. 2 recruit for Imhotep when his team faced New York's Long Island Lutheran in 2022. Edgecombe, then a junior, had 24 points in the 65-55 win.

VJ Edgecombe, the No. 3 pick in the draft, will be looking to move forward as a player. He has been in the process of getting himself ready for this next step, but the Sixers will work him through a lot of different scenarios and positions to see what he can do in terms of versatility.
