The hearing of Pushpa 2: The Rule actor Allu Arjun's bail plea has been postponed. The actor was arrested in the Sandhya theatre stampede case earlier this month and was remanded to a 14-day judicial custody. However, he was granted an interim bail for four weeks on a personal bond of Rs 50,000.

The incident took place on December 4 when Allu Arjun visited the Sandhya Theatre during a premiere show of his latest flick ‘Pushpa-2’. A 35-year-old woman was killed in the stampede-like situation while her 8-year-old son was critically injured and under treatment at a city hospital.

Allu Arjun’s father and veteran producer Allu Aravind, along with Dil Raju and others, visited a private hospital where a boy injured in the stampede is undergoing treatment.

A 39-year-old named Revathi died on December 4 during the stampede. Talking about the same, Pawan Kalyan said that it would have been better if someone from Allu Arjun's side had gone to the victims' house.

Almost a month after Allu Arjun`s arrest, because a fan died in Sandhya theatre during the stampede at the premiere of the film, producer Boney Kapoor has reacted on the case. Boney Kapoor said that Allu Arjun was `unnecessarily dragged` in the case as the death was largely due to the large number of crowd gathered there.

Boney Kapoor has said that it was wrong to drag Allu Arjun in the Sandhya Theatre stampede case, adding that the death of the fan happened due to the crowd.
