Dinosaurs are alive and well at the box office as Universal’s “Jurassic World Rebirth” trampled competitors, grossing $147 million domestically over five days of the Fourth of July weekend.

Dinosaurs are ruling the box office again. “Jurassic World Rebirth,” the seventh installment in Universal’s long-running prehistoric series, stomped to $147.3 million over its first five days in 4,308 North American theaters.

About a year after it was officially unveiled, Jurassic World Rebirth has landed in theaters, and immediately stomped the box office competition. It’s well on its way to being one of 2025's biggest movies.
