Only a few hours ahead of an FA Cup match against Peterborough United, Everton have sacked manager Sean Dyche. Dyche has overseen the Toffees since January of 2023 with the team failing to finish in the top half of the table during any of that tenure.

Everton's FA Cup third-round match against Peterborough on Thursday night is set to go ahead despite icy conditions on Merseyside.

Everton will hold a safety meeting early this afternoon (Thursday) ahead of their FA Cup third-round tie at home to Peterborough United tonight. It comes after Merseyside was hit with a weather warning for the sixth day in succession.
