A 19-year-old man is accused of sexually assaulting a student in a bathroom at a North Texas high school after he gained unauthorized access to the campus, police said. The sexual assault was reported about 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 12, at Horn High School in Mesquite, according to a news release from Mesquite police.

A teenager is facing serious charges after being allowed into Mesquite ISD's Horn High School, where he allegedly forced a former girlfriend into a bathroom with a weapon and sexually assaulted her, police said Wednesday.

Police say the Seagoville man bypassed security at Horn High School after a student allowed him in through a locked exterior door. They say he found a student he previously dated and forced her into a bathroom stall.

Mesquite Police arrested a young adult Tuesday night after he sexually assaulted an ex at her high school in the bathroom. Police identified 19-year-old Synniaz Elijah as the suspect. He entered Horn High School campus at 2:30 p.
