Felix Auger-Aliassime reached the semifinals of the Adelaide International with a straight sets win over Marcos Giron of the United States on Wednesday.

The Canadian, seeded fifth, earned a berth in the semifinals of the Adelaide International with a 7-6 (3), 6-3 win over world No. 45 Marcos Giron of the U.S. on Thursday. Auger-Aliassime is now 3-1 on the season, including a win over world No. 4 Taylor Fritz of the U.S. at the United Cup.

Felix Auger-Aliassime needed four match points and nearly three hours to beat Tommy Paul 7-6 (7/3), 3-6, 6-4 and reach the Adelaide International final on Friday.
