Liverpool players joined family and friends for the funeral of their teammate Diogo Jota and his brother on Saturday, two days after the siblings died in a car crash in Spain

Jota, the Liverpool forward who in May celebrated winning the Premier League title, has died. He was 28. Police said Jota died along with his brother Andre Silva, also a soccer player, in a car accident near the northwestern city of Zamora, Spain.

Diogo Jota has died aged 28 after his car crashed off the side of a motorway and erupted in flames. Jota was in the car with his 26-year-old brother, Andre, a footballer for FC Penafiel in Portugal, who also died.
