Jeffrey Roberts will have a short trip next year when he moves from the high school football ranks to the college level. Roberts, a junior at Ames High School, committed to Iowa State football to continue his career.

One of the Iowa Hawkeyes‘ offensive targets is off the board. Iowa was reportedly set to host former Northern Illinois wide receiver Cam Thompson for a visit on Jan. 9-10, but that’s off the table following Thompson’s commitment to Mississippi State.
