Philadelphia 76ers star Paul George spent the first seven seasons of his career with the Indiana Pacers, leading the franchise to two Eastern Conference finals appearances.

After Paul George spoke about his disappointment in the Pacers treatment, the team will make it up to him.

There was a time when the Pacers’ on-court successes were set squarely on Paul George’s shoulders. The 34-year-old swingman won four of his nine All-Star appearances in Indiana, building his reputation as a prolific scorer with a penchant for defense.

Paul George had a standout seven-year career with the Indiana Pacers before moving on to other NBA franchises. Now, as a member of the Philadelphia 76ers, he’s speaking out about the lack of recognition he’s received from his former team since his departure.

George once again returned to Indiana earlier this month in a road game with the Sixers, and still did not receive a homecoming tribute from the Pacers.

"I think the way things played out still holds a grudge to them and they don't realize the great runs we had in the time I was there."

While he was unable to play in the game due to injury, and obviously not his first time back in Indiana, it was peculiar that the Pacers didn’t at least acknowledge their former star.

Paul George’s return to Indiana with the Philadelphia 76ers on Jan. 18 marked yet another chapter in his complex relationship with the Pacers. Though the star forward had a memorable seven-year stint in Indianapolis,
