Among President Trump’s many immigration policies implemented since he took office, his plan for mass deportations has rattled migrant communities in Colorado and beyond.

On Monday, the Florida Highway Patrol conducted a joint operation with federal immigration officers in Jefferson County to round up 12 people believed to be in the country illegally, one of a number of raids performed around the country as the Trump administration ramps up its plans for mass deportation.

The U.S. crackdown on immigration is catching heat in the Seattle area, as federal immigration officers are getting back up from the Drug Enforcement Administration.
