Gautam Singhania, Chairman and Managing Director of The Raymond Ltd, Founder of the Super Car Club of India posted on X about a Lamborghini that caught fire. He raised an important question in his post about vehicle safety.

A fire broke out inside a moving Lamborghini car on the Coastal Road in Mumbai on Wednesday night, officials said. No injuries are reported in the incident which occurred at around 10.20 pm. A fire brigade official said one fire engine was promptly dispatched to the spot. The blaze was doused in approximately 45 minutes.

The Lamborghini luxury car, worth nearly ₹9 crore (ex-showroom), was seen engulfed in flames on the Coastal Road in Mumbai.

Businessman and car enthusiast Gautam Singhania shared a video of the affected car on social media platform X (previously known as Twitter).

Gautam Singhania raised concerns over safety of Lamborghini in India, In the 11-second clip, there was smoke coming out from the rear of the vehicle, while a man was using a fire extinguisher to douse the flame.

Launched in India almost a year ago at a starting price of Rs 8.89 crore (ex-showroom), the Lamborghini Revuelto is the brand’s flagship model, powered by a V12 hybrid engine.
