A birthday on the eve of the Open Championship isn’t the only thing Adam Scott wants to celebrate, adamant he has more majors in him.

Scott, who turned 45 on Wednesday, scaled the major mountain over a decade ago with victory at the 2013 Masters. He is teeing it up in his 97th consecutive major at The Open at Royal Portrush, eyeing off becoming only the second player to play 100 in a row.

Scott has competed in 96 consecutive major tournaments. The 153rd Open Championship will mark his 97th consecutive major, an impressive and rare feat. In the video he shared, he was captured taking shots on the grounds at Royal Portrush. He wrote in the caption,

After a 10th-place showing at the 2024 The Open Championship, Adam Scott will look for another strong performance this year at Royal Portrush Golf Club. He has +8000 odds to win. In the past 12 months, Scott has competed in 18 events. His best finish was second, his average finish was 25th, and he made the cut 16 times (88.9%).
