Twitch continues to search for new ways to help boost revenue. The latest move involves raising the price for Tier 1 subscriptions across 30 countries, including the United States and Canada.

Automatic subscription renewals, or Twitch subscriptions purchased via Amazon Prime do not qualify for the promotion. Only new monthly, multi-month, or gifted Twitch subscriptions will count.

Once you update to the latest version of the Twitch iOS app, you’ll find the option to purchase recurring subscriptions. It’s a change the company says it’s making based on user feedback.
