KNR will fund swim lessons as part of the Nanye Barber Tribute Fund, established in 2024 following the drowning of 15-year-old Nanye Barber.

"Particularly in the African American community, representation has always been a bit of an issue," said SOMA Justice Learn to Swim instructor Ellis Peters. "I've been doing my best to fill that role.
