Walker County Animal Shelter, housing 100+ dogs, welcomes new director Melissa Smith, who plans a volunteer program and a spay/neuter initiative to help local pets.
Vogt has dedicated the last three years to rescuing wolfdogs, her rescue currently has 23 wolfdogs. In about a week, she will have 3 more, all rescued from Grand River.
The first dog of those saved from Marlin's City Animal Control Center is ready for adoption and her name is Mary Francis!
