Wide receiver Robert Woods (hip) was the only player who didn’t practice Wednesday. Linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair (knee), offensive guard Shaq Mason (knee) and offensive guard Juice Scruggs (ankle) returned to practice on a limited basis after missing Tuesday’s work.

The Houston Texans traded for running back Joe Mixon, who had one year left on a deal he signed with the Cincinnati Bengals. After finalizing the trade, the Texans gave Mixon a three-year extension. c Mixon Under Contract With Texans For Two More Seasons Through 2027 Houston extended Mixon for three years on a deal that could be worth up to $27 million.

Mixon wasn't listed on Houston's injury report Tuesday, so his addition to it a day later makes his status worth monitoring ahead of Saturday's divisional-round game against the Chiefs. Thursday's final injury report is thus in line to reveal whether the starting running back carries an injury designation into the weekend,
