What this entails is an expansion of in-person repair options for the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, by way of a partnership with uBreakFix by Asurion and it's nearly 700 participating store locations spread out across the United States.

Xbox console repairs generally aren’t something most owners can do on their own and while there are options out there for a fix, now there’s going to be one more. Today, Microsoft officially announced that it’s partnering with uBreakiFix to handle console repairs.

Said goal has also had a smaller impact on the consoles themselves. The company also recommends using the Shutdown (energy saving) option, which can be found via Settings, General, Power Options on your console.
