New tipoffs suggest the rumored cheaper Samsung Galaxy Z Flip model could come equipped with the company’s own Exynos 2400 chipset, the same as some Galaxy S24 models.

We've seen a few mid-range Flip phones in recent times, but it looks like Samsung could reveal a Galaxy Z Flip FE next year.

The latest rumor comes from the leaker Jukanlosreve on X (spotted by Android Police) who stated that the Fan Edition foldable would feature an Exynos processor, specifically the Exynos 2400, which is from 2023. Jukanlosreve has been on a tipping tear since returning to that mine and, for the most part, appears to have fairly accurate reports.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 boasts strong performance, great software, and class-leading portability, but it's dwarfed by the Galaxy S24 Ultra in the camera and battery life departments.

Samsung could be working on a budget flip phone, and a fresh leak hinted at the Galaxy Z Flip FE packing the Exynos 2400.

Additionally, this is not the first time that Samsung was rumored behind cheaper foldable smartphone plans, particularly as its flagship Galaxy Z Fold was also rumored to be getting an affordable version in the future.
