France's largest video game maker Ubisoft has decided to postpone the release of the newest game in its blockbuster franchise Assassin’s Creed again, putting off the launch to March 20 from Feb. 14, the company said on Thursday.

Ubisoft has announced another delay for its much-anticipated Assassin’s Creed Shadows. The video game was originally set to launch in November 2024.

Ubisoft has delayed Assassin's Creed Shadows a second time, with the game's release slipping from February to March this year. Originally scheduled to come out in November 2024, the game was delayed to February 14, 2025, to allow more time for extra polish, but has now received a second delay of nearly five weeks.

From its founding in 1986, French video game maker Ubisoft has grown into a giant of the sector with operations in 20 countries and an uber popular franchise, "Assassin's Creed".

Assassin’s Creed Shadows was originally scheduled to be released in November of 2024, but Ubisoft announced in September that it had been delayed to February 2025.

Assassin's Creed Shadows is introducing some fresh parkour mechanics to the formula, making it quite a bit different from what AC Mirage offered.

Ubisoft announced that Assassin's Creed Shadows was being delayed again, this time until March. Alongside that announcement, an update was posted to Steam that revealed details about the first expansion.
