Another round of Santa Ana winds might return to parts of L.A. next week
Between Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning, AccuWeather predicts wind gusts between 30 and 50mph through L.A.’s mountain ranges as well as the northern San Fernando Valley and coastal Ventura and Orange Counties. As a result, unhealthy air quality is expected to persist throughout the weekend.

This week, the Santa Ana winds are expected to hit the region, possibly sparking more fires in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and/or Ventura counties. The National Weather Service declared a rare PDS, or "particularly dangerous situation," red flag warning for the Los Angeles area ahead of this week.
As fires in the region remain uncontained, L.A. officials say they’re “ready” for an incoming new round of strong winds.
