After serving as general manager of the Los Angeles Chargers for 11 seasons, Tom Telesco has lasted just one year in the same role with the Las Vegas Raiders.

The Las Vegas Raiders fired general manager Tom Telesco on Thursday, just a year after he was hired. The move is part of a house cleaning following a 4-13 season which also included the dismissal of coach Antonio Pierce on Tuesday.

The Chargers and Raiders will square off in today’s season finale in Las Vegas. Los Angeles has the opportunity to clinch the No. 5 seed in the AFC playoffs with a win this week which would pit them against the Houston Texans in the wild card round.

The Los Angeles Chargers, who are in their first season under coach Jim Harbaugh, look for their first playoff win since the 2018 season when they visit the Houston Texans Saturday in a wild-card matchup.
