ROCHESTER, New York (WABC) -- A witness is speaking out after a warning over a possible mountain lion sighting prompted a shelter-in-place order in Upstate New York. The elusive cat was reportedly spotted in Rochester on Wednesday sauntering down a street.

Video shared by Rochester-based WHEC journalist Jennifer Lewke shows doorbell camera footage of a large wild cat walking past a front porch on Grand Avenue. Rochester-based station WHAM-Channel 13 interviewed Curtis Jones, who said he saw the big cat while walking near Rauber Street late Wednesday.
