A Florida Lotto drawing was held on Wednesday night and a ticket purchased in Destin matched all six of the winning numbers, earning the jackpot prize of $43 million, according to the Florida Lottery.

Gibbs claimed her prize in mid-January, almost a month after she won $110,000 in a Dec. 23 drawing. She was at the Fairway One Stop convenience store in Greensboro when she spent $1 on her lucky ticket, lottery officials wrote in a news release.

Lolita Moore didn’t say exactly how many lottery tickets she bought, but it was enough that she felt compelled to share with her husband, the Virginia Lottery reported in a Jan. 10 news release. “Once the Chesterfield County couple got to scratching, one of her tickets turned out to be a $125,000 winner,” lottery officials said.

The player chose to receive a lump sum payment totaling about $728,000. He said he plans to share with his family and save for retirement.

The New York Lottery announced two top-prize winning tickets — worth $16,074 — were sold for the Jan. 14 TAKE 5 evening drawing. One ticket was sold at Buckley’s Market, located at 251 Nassau Ave., in Brooklyn. Another winning ticket was sold at Bolla 820 Hempstead C-Store, located at 820 Hempstead Ave., in West Hempstead, New York.

Jersey Cash 5 is a daily lottery draw game from the New Jersey Lottery. Players pick five numbers between 1 and 45 and can add the Xtra for a chance to increase non-jackpot prizes by up to five times. The Bullseye gives players another chance to win. Drawings are held seven days a week at 10:57 p.m.
