Less than two days after announcing her departure from VShojo and alleging that the company was withholding more than half a million dollars in charity donation

VTuber Ironmouse announced her decision to leave VShojo on July 22, 2025. Within a couple of days after her departure, she successfully raised more than a million dollars for the Immune Deficiency Foundation through the Tiltify campaign.

Newsweek has reached out to Ironmouse, VShojo and the Immune Deficiency Foundation via email for comment. Ironmouse, who is public facing as an anime virtual avatar, is one of the more well known VTube stars in the world.
