Chris Pratt is set to return to his role as the Monday-hating, lasagna-loving cat Garfield in an animated sequel to last year’s The Garfield Movie. The 2024 animated movie, which was released by Sony Pictures globally (save for China), grossed over $230 million at the global box office.

So far, Pratt is the only voice actor confirmed to be returning. At the very least it would be expected that the filmmakers would try to get back Nicholas Hoult to play Garfield's owner Jon Arbuckle,
