Severe thunderstorms are likely Saturday
We have barely had time to dry out from Thursday’s severe weather and heavy rain, and we will have another all-hazards severe weather threat with heavy rain on Saturday. Another strong area of low pressure will move out of the Rockies and into the ArkLaTex Saturday morning.
FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY for Severe Storms
Severe storms are expected anywhere between 11am-11pm with the bulk of the system moving through between 2pm-7pm.

Dense fog reported over the Causeway Bridge this morning. Lanes are restricted, and speeds are reduced until conditions improve. Devastating storms ripped across Texas yesterday. The forecast called for multiple severe storms to form creating for threats of damaging winds and large tornados.

Pleasant weather returns to the ArkLaTex on Friday, followed by another chance for severe thunderstorms on Saturday. Expect some areas of fog to develop Friday morning with temperatures in the 50s at sunrise.
