Volvo said the rearview camera image “does not display” and can reduce the driver's view – increasing the risk of a crash.

According to Volvo, all of the recalled cars are believed to suffer from the software defect. The rearview camera display may go black when affected cars are put in reverse, impacting rear visibility.
