A restructuring within the front office of the Seattle Kraken is expected to see assistant general manager Jason Botterill elevated to the top job, reports Daily Faceoff’s Frank Seravalli.

The Seattle Kraken elevated Hall of Famer Ron Francis to president of hockey operations on Tuesday and promoted Jason Botterill to executive vice president and general manager.

Francis now is the Kraken's president of hockey operations, as his former assistant takes over as GM and executive vice president.
