KELLER — The Keller ISD Board of Trustees could soon be looking for a new superintendent amid the controversy surrounding a proposal to split the district in two.

According to a school board meeting agenda posted online, the Keller ISD School Board will discuss Superintendent Tracy Johnson's future with the district on Thursday.

At the upcoming school board meeting, trustees will decide whether to accept Dr. Johnson’s "voluntary separation" and appoint an interim superintendent.

Johnson expressed she was against the idea of splitting the district and even offered to resign if the plan moved forward.
