Irvine officials are moving forward with a project in the Great Park that’s expected to bring a retail center, including grocery stores, by 2027.

The Virginia Department of Transportation heard additional public input Tuesday on proposed Piedmont Avenue bridge work.

The plan to revitalize Piedmont Park includes a natural amphitheater, a Lake Clara Meer makeover and making sure the park is more accessible to Atlanta Beltline users.
