The free PlayStation Plus games for February 2025 have been officially revealed. Every month, PlayStation Plus subscribers are treated to a fresh batch of free games. These free games are typically spread between PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, though the clock is ticking for free PS4 games on PS Plus.

Sony warns current PlayStation Plus subscribers that PlayStation 4 games are no longer guaranteed key benefits of the freebie games catalog.

Now, with January 2025's PS Plus selection approaching its end, a brand-new lineup of games for subscribers to enjoy is set to arrive in February.

So, from January 2026 onwards, native PS5 titles will be the focus of PS Plus, across all three tiers. There will still be a PS4 version thrown in here and there, but it should no longer be an expectation in 12 months. How do you feel about this change to the service? Sony has announced that PlayStation Plus subscribers will stop getting free monthly PS4 games starting in 2026, as the company shifts focus to PS5 owners. However, Sony acknowledges that subscribers may still occasionally receive PS4 games through PS Plus Monthly Games and Game Catalog after the change.

As many of our players are currently playing on PS5 and have shifted toward redeeming and accessing PS5 titles from the Monthly Games and Game Catalog benefit, PlayStation Plus is also evolving with this trend and will focus on offering PS5 titles through the Monthly Games and Game Catalog benefit starting January 2026,

You’ll still have access to monthly PS4 games you’ve already redeemed, but Sony is shifting its focus more fully to PS5.

The PlayStation Blog post which revealed February 2025's monthly titles also included an update on the monthly games subscribers can obtain at no extra cost each month and the Gam
