Kelsey Anderson‘s dad, Mark Anderson, made quite an impression when he appeared on Joey Graziadei‘s season of The Bachelor. The 57-year-old Minnesota native, who now lives in Louisiana, was supportive of his daughter’s journey to find love.

Anderson’s daughter Kelsey, who is “Bachelor” royalty, waved her father out of the limo, introducing him to Vassos, 61-year-old grandmother, private school administrator and first female star of ABC’s retirement age spinoff.

Kelsey vied for the affections of Joey during season 28 of the ABC reality series, which kicked off in January 2024. Joey popped the question to Kelsey during the finale. Months later, her dad, Mark, followed in Kelsey’s footsteps by joining the cast of The Golden Bachelorette season 1 starring Joan Vassos.
