Golden State Warriors star Jimmy Butler was apparently battling a mysterious illness for Game 4, and it appears to still be affecting him during Game 5.

On the brink of elimination and without Stephen Curry, the Golden State Warriors are pinning their hopes on newly acquired star Jimmy Butler III. But an unexpected illness in Game 4 has cast doubt on his availability for Wednesday’s pivotal Game 5 in Minneapolis.

Butler was excellent against the Timberwolves on Saturday night, dropping in 33 points, seven rebounds and seven assists. Jonathan Kuminga also added 30 points off the bench, as the two forwards combined for nearly two-thirds of the Warriors' total offensive output on the evening.
