GIANTS ROSTER MOVES. The New York Giants have activated inside linebacker Dyonte Johnson from the injured reserve list, where he had been since the start of the 2024 season with an ankle injury. Johnson’s activation was expected as his 21-day window expires on Christmas Day.

Dyontae Johnson, who has spent the entire season on injured reserve, was activated on Tuesday by the New York Giants. A linebacker, Johnson had an impressive training camp before suffering an ankle injury that was expected to keep him sidelined for only a few weeks.

The Houston Texans have lost two of their top wide receivers for the season due to injury, so DeMeco Ryans and the front office are adding a big name to help for the playoff push. According to NFL Media,

Johnson and the Ravens initially agreed to excuse him from team activities this week. Johnson was suspended for last week’s victory over the New York Giants for conduct detrimental to the team. Johnson’s suspension stemmed from refusing to enter Baltimore’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Johnson played 39 snaps in four games with the Ravens and caught one pass for six yards. He had 30 catches for 357 yards and three touchdowns in seven games with the Panthers. Johnson spent his first five seasons with Pittsburgh, where he caught 391 passes for 4,363 yards and 25 touchdowns.
